The UCLA Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library supports the educational, research, patient care, and administrative needs of the UCLA faculty, staff, and students. The Library serves primarily the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Public Health, the UCLA Medical Center, the departments of Biology, Microbiology, Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, Physiological Sciences, and Psychology, in the College of Letters and Sciences, and related institutes in biomedicine.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Louise Darling Biomedical Library staff is to provide access to and delivery of information resources. The primary focus of our services and collections is to support the health and life sciences research, educational, and patient care responsibilities of UCLA faculty, students, and staff.
