Web pages come in all sizes, colors, shapes and designs and may convey information that is fact, fiction, fantasy or fraud.

Determining the source or sponsor of a web page can help you evaluate the usefulness of any page for your particular needs. Here are 5 broad categories of sponsors or creators that cover most web pages:

2. corporate/business/for profit

4. non-government organization or professional organization
5. educational institution
